While I was away, my favorite Atlanta wifi work spot, Perk Coffee in Glenwood Park, changed its name to Drip. Does anyone else see this as a branding blunder?
PERK - consumers think “perky, upbeat, lively”

DRIP - consumers think “dull, downward, falling”

I noticed that too when I drove by the other day–did it change ownership? Has the menu/pricing/amenities changed?

From what I gather, they have new owners. The inside is pretty much the same and they have the same staff. But the menu is expanded a bit. And the coffee tastes better — but maybe that’s just my tastebuds. Sitting at “drip” now. It’s a bad name — but I still like the place.
